Lu Hao Draws the M40.
Exploration of urban life in the megalopolis is the main theme in Lu Hao’s installations, models, objects and drawings. Small-scale reproductions of national monuments done in acrylic can be found in his oeuvre alongside expansive city models of Beijing portraying the consequences and contradictions of modernisation. In addition to industrial materials such as acrylic, he also repeatedly relies on traditional Chinese motifs, symbols and techniques.
James and Jones in partnership with the Highways agency will ask Lu Hao to draw the surrounding of the M40. Then an exhibition will be mounted in majors town along the the route of the M40.
